The Quality of Life World Foundation always respects the following general principles in carrying out all its activities:
Distributed democratic governance
Globally applicable
Sustainable
Dynamic and Evolutionary
Transparent
Universal Ownership
Separation of power and money
Value Driven
Sustainable economy
The QOL World Foundation is independent and autonomous, but it also resides in current society and the world in which we all live. This influences the interactions and the extent to which quality of life can be generated in a sustainable way. This sustainability is key to the survival and expansion of the Quality of Life Foundation. It combines sustainable economic principles, not as an afterthought but as fundamental building blocks, with the evolutionary, self-steering governance model towards building a new future-proof environment. It helps us move toward an economy capable of both being competitive in the current global economy and actively contributing to the creation of more quality of life.
Distributed governance
Although the QOL World Foundation is bound by the governmental structures, sovereign authorities, and laws and frameworks surrounding it, the Foundation will operate under a distributed governance, based on self-steering principles. Everyone within the organization enacts their own “roles” and therefore commits to take on responsibilities and accountabilities. People are their own managers and assume full responsibility for the functioning of their roles. This promotes engagement and empowerment.
Dynamic and transparent
The QOL World Foundation promotes action-oriented working and collaboration practices. It will pursue radical transparency for all community related dealings. This allows for continuous adjustments to be made. In this way, people have insight at all times, and can raise concerns and propose solutions, thus strengthening the support base of the community.

No sovereign authority
A community statute forms the base of the Foundation, ensuring equitable participation, voice and guidance for every community member.
No borders
The basic principles of quality of life can be applied to people from all corners of the world. Research will map out the cultural differences and support working towards a global reach.
People have insight at all times, can raise concerns and propose solutions
Evolutionary principles
Agreements within the Quality of Life World Community are evolutionary; they can be adapted or changed when this requested change serves the purpose of the community. As all community-members have equal rights in participating, any of them can introduce a change-proposal and take it through the decision-making process. It is by the voices of the whole community that change requests will be validated, and decisions to change a certain rule will be made.
A free society
The QOL World Community is a free society, voluntarily formed by the people for the people. Where societal structure is a consequence of people’s actions, therefore.
All agreements are changeable by the community
All proposals stem from actual tension and are always proposed by participants
Participants are directly involved in decisions, through direct voting
Participants directly elect commissions and bridge members
Separation of power and money
Ownership in the QOL World Community means holding the value of an asset. Although owners have some specific rights towards value preservation, they don’t have usage rights. All rights, not specifically stated as being for the owner, are usage rights. Usage rights are temporary and subject to compensation at market conditions.
Universal ownership
Participants hold the value of what they produce and are able to transact freely; the Quality of Life World Foundation retains legal ownership of all assets through its network of foundations. The Universal Ownership Vault DAO governs the community statute.

Privacy
Although practicing radical transparency, all participants own their self-sovereign identity.
